"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order,
confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today,
and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Dear Paula,
I have not been back to read you for awhile, because my husband has been in the nursing home, and then passed away about six weeks ago. I had just moved to Texas from Tennessee so we could be close to our daughter and son-in-law, and our grandchildren. Three weeks after we moved here, he passed away. It was time for God to call him home, and he was ready to go. Thank you for your words of encouragement over the years. Best regards to you. Ruby
